Rules and Regulations

  1. Full papers are limited to 7 pages included in the registration fee. Authors have the option to include up one extra page at additional fee of  US$50 (L.E.400).
  2. Posters are limited to 2 pages included in the registration fee.
  3. For ACM members, a valid ACM membership is required at registration time. Numbers are checked against ACM database at such time.
  4. For participants affiliated with an Egyptian Higher Education and Research Institutions, a valid ID is required at registration time.
  5. For attending students, a valid full-time student ID is required at Check-In.
  6. Each regular paper must be associated with at least one non-student registration even if all authors on the paper are all students.
  7. Each poster must be associated with at least one non-student poster registration even if all authors on the poster are all students.
  8. Failing to provide evidence for membership or student status will result in enforcing the non-member fee of $350 and $390 for early and late registrations, respectively.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests for Attendee and Student registrations must be received by the following dates in order to ensure proper refunds.

 
Cancellation requests must be sent to the conference Treasurer at INFOS2016@fci-cu.edu.eg
No refund for Author Registration after April 8th, 2016 as the conference Proceedings is finalized.

Frequently Asked Questions FAQs about Registration:

Q. I have two papers accepted, what registration fee should I pay?
Answer: You will need to pay ONE FULL Registration fee to cover the publication of both papers.

 

Q. I have three papers accepted, what registration fee should I pay?
Answer: You will need to pay TWO FULL Registration fee to cover the publication of the three papers.


Q. I have a paper and a poster accepted, what registration fee should I pay?
Answer: You will need to pay ONE FULL Registration fee to cover the publication of both papers.


Q. I am a (Ph.D. or M.Sc.) student and I have a paper accepted, what registration fee should I pay?
Answer: You will need to pay ONE FULL Registration fee to cover the publication of your paper. This registration covers up to two publications in the conference.


Q. I do not have a paper/poster accepted, but I want to attend a tutorial in the conference, what registration fee I should pay?
Answer: You can register for the Tutorials Day Only registration fee. This fee is valid for all types of attendees (students, non-students, ACM, non-ACM, etc.).

 

 
Posters  Questions:

Q. My submission was accepted as a POSTER, what does that mean?
Answer: A POSTER is a form of publication that is limited to two pages only and it will be published in the ACM proceedings and appear in the ACM digital library. You will need to reduce the size of your submission to pay only two pages. You can include the key idea in these two pages, but not the full idea or the results. The registration fee of the poster DOES NOT include the cost of the poster production. You need will need to prepare your poster as per the instructions that will be sent to you later.

 
 
 
ACM Membership Questions
 

Q. I am an ACM member already, how would I take advantage of the discount rate?
Answer: You will simply need to supply your ACM membership number during the submission process. The conference will validate this membership number and approve your discount.

 

Q. I am NOT an ACM member, but I want to take advantage of the discount for ACM members?
Answer: Simply sign up for ACM membership at https://www.acm.org/membership. You will need to supply your ACM membership number during the submission process. The conference will validate this membership number and approve your discount. OR, you can join the ACM Egypt Chapter by choosing this option during the online registration process. You will receive a free ONE year membership and receive immediate discount rate for the registration fee.
